Words to avoid in order to stay positive

Positive attitude does not only lie in our action but it also reflects on the word we speak. A single word can change the whole positive perception that we intend to convey or convince. Even when we do certain tasks that are challenging or difficult we need words that will assure that we can do it and to build positive energy. So lets look at some word we can avoid to stay positive.

1) Can't and won't

Avoid using words like 'I can't' and 'I won't,' because when you do so, you restrict yourself to opportunities that are in front of you. For example, when you have to learn something new and you are not able to achieve it on the first day don't let negativity creep in. Assure yourself that you can and will do it. Noting is beyond your capability so you will be able to achieve what you started.

2) Impossible

'Impossible' is another negative word which can be made positive by changing it into 'I'm possible'. So don't stop yourself by thinking things are not possible.Everything is if you try and put your best. Like Napoleon Bonaparte said, "Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools."

3) 'I made a terrible mistake' and 'I'm a big failure!'.

How many time have we found ourselves saying this when things go wrong? The words 'failure' and 'mistake' have so much negativity to it when we just read them. But mistakes and failure are a part of life and we tend to make them and go through them. But they are in way good for us because we learn from our mistakes and failures and we tend to improve our selves and learn to avoid them. They are like stepping stones that help pave path to your success. So next time you think of the words 'failure' or 'mistakes', think of words like 'improvement', 'learning' and 'success'.

4) Depressed, sad, terrible

Even on your worst days try not saying those words. Because these words can turn even the brightest days in your life dark. Instead of saying 'i feel terrible' and 'I'm depressed,' try saying 'I had a bad day, but I'm not going to let it spoil my attitude.' There is no good from feeling depressed about things that go wrong, instead it's just going to fill your mind and body with so much negativity that it's bad for you. Try putting a 'no' in front those words.

Things don't always turn out right and the way we want it to be. And in times like that we got to pick ourselves up and keeping going forward. But we can't if we cloud our selves with negative words. So close the door tight and all those words outside your life and keep walking with word like 'I can,' 'I will,' 'possible,' 'success,' 'improvement' and 'positive.'
