Poetry: Without a word

by Jon Coe

Created on: August 23, 2009

I looked at you in a twinkle of an eye
beginning our thought, asking you why
Turning heads, lips still and unshaken
depths of our knowledge, immeasurably waken

Pupils expanding, irises dancing and pulsating
temples throbbing, lashes twitching, hearts racing
Beginning this sentence, passing it over to you
spinning ideas, bouncing around something new
