I hope you understand, my heart is in the wind.
The words you said, set me back once again.
A place, a humbling, where love never seems to end.
Swirling memories, in the still of a midnight wind.
Shadows on the wall, tells me the moons in free-fall.
Another sleepless night, a daydream by candlelight.
Fading memories of my mind.
Dancing shadows, in the clouds of time.
The music, the romance and the wine.

Cupid, catch my heart on the fly.
Take it beyond the stratosphere and hide.
Keep it safe from those who'll contrive.
Toying memories are still burning inside.

it will ride like a boy on the ocean's
