Walls;
Painted lines on the map of the world, cutting the cake, nations are born. Transparent walls that hold us at bay, fear, paranoia, footsteps taken away. The walls we build to protect what we have, grow taller by year, depravation at hand. Guns at the ready, missiles to defend, hold your ground to the very end.
Walls of the mind, a child spared, freedom to roam, adult's despair. Build these walls, between us two. That's my toy, a child would spew. Politicians tell us were free but who really now believes? Walls we hide behind, transparent at times, incarcerate us all, in time.
A free-spirit can only see, the classes, rich and poor and how it should be. Sex, Religion and Race can no longer afford, to enslaved people to that invisible force. The walls of deception will crumble under the truth.
Freedom of the wind, a lone wolf.
