So you are interested in finding free, and legal Christan songs with a positive message? Well you have come to the right place! However, regardless of if it is free or not, if it up for sale and you like the music, buy it, for it helps the artist who made it grow and move up the ladder.

First off, when you do download or buy a song, you must not break copyright, which means not claiming it is your own work and not selling it your shelf without express written permission by the artist or band manager. This is very important, and if you don't abide by that golden rule, you could be sued for all money made from it and more, along with some prison time.

If you want to start your search, go to a public domain site. These sites offer people to host their content, so others may listen or view for free. The great thing about it is, it is a win-win situation. You get something for free, and the artist or creator gets free publicity.

This site is great if you are a artist looking for publicity and a little pocket change. This site is primarily used for hosting indie bands. Indie is a term used for independent, meaning self sustaining. These bands are just starting out and looking for a few fans to help them get signed.

If you want more then just free Christian music, this is the place to go. This site offers sheet music, lyrics, and cord charts, so you can not only listen to the music, but learn it and eventually preform it, provided you have the proper rights to do so. This site is great for a worship team, choir or band, so they may share the music of Jesus Christ with others.

Whatever music you like, be sure it is public domain, and be sure not to download it unless you are absolutely sure it is legal to do so. Many people risk getting caught when downloading illegally, and some get caught their first time. Protect yourself and abide by the law. It is always better to be safe then sorry.
