Reflections: When you love Mr. Wrong

by Ms. Moey

Created on: August 22, 2009

Mr. Wrong is not always the bad guy. He may actually believe that a relationship could work - with the right person. He will search long and hard to find his princess and will meet many maidens along the way. Some maidens might fall in love with Mr. Wrong, which is all the easier if he is devilishly handsome, but only his princess will tame his heart.

How do you know that handsome beast is Mr. Wrong? If he shows a lack of interest when you are trying to communicate important subjects to him (this excludes: girly talks, talk show subjects, "is she hot" conversation traps, and p.m.s. complaints) he may not be invested in you either. If he doesn't follow up with his promises and forgets to meet up during dates, you may not be his princess. Finally, if he only calls when he needs something and avoids spending time together, he may be Mr. Wrong.

Don't despair yet fair maidens. Just because this one man isn't the one for you doesn't mean that you're ugly, unlovable, or boring. Love isn't everywhere you look. Yes, he may be handsome. Okay, so he's popular too - but the point is that there may be another cute prince that is more compatible with you.

The right prince will treat you like a worthy princess. He'll make you feel special from every other woman, even the most beautiful ones. He'll love your personality as well as your beauty. He'll keep promises and even bring surprises (the good kind). He will make you feel valuable and protected from harm. Don't confuse Mr. Right with a doormat though. He will respectively give you his opinions and respect yours too, even if they differ. During arguments with Mr. Right, he will seem to want to find a conclusion and still love you after battle. He'll let you know when he thinks you're out of line which may make you be more open other other people's point of view and make you a better person overall.

Mr. Wrong might be a Mr. Right to the right lady and Mr. Right may actually be a Mr. Wrong in disguise. Whatever the case, listen to you're heart and then read this article again. If he pisses you off a lot and you want to claim revenge after the relationship is done, he is probably wrong for you. If he makes you happy and you hardly have any doubts, you may have found you're knight in shining armor. Just remember that you shouldn't try to change anyone to suit you, but to find someone who comes stock with what you want.
