Runescape is a great game, but it is a real time-eater! Many people who play it are getting really busy during these times. Some people have a social life during these beautiful summer days, others are working, and some are starting school soon. If anything, those things should come first, before a video-game. This game may be fun, but don't give up your social-life for it. Here I am going to be listing some very easy ways that will get you to quit this game once and for all.

First off, if you can, sell your account. Don't give it away, but if you have the option, sell it. You have enjoyed this game long enough, and to get payed, makes it worth it.

1~ First of all, if you have a membership, cancel it. There is no reason to pay money for something your not playing. If you plan on selling your account, do this so they can't access any of your personal information or get a "free" membership from you.

2~ Gather some last memories. Go PKing. If you want to, wear your best armor. Bring your most valuable things. You can skip this step and head straight to #3 if you don't want to PK. Instead of PvP, go do a last round of Castle Wars (members), or go duel someone for the last time.

3~ Tell all your friends on your friends' list that you will be leaving Runescape. Here is the trick, don't give ANYONE your account and the password. Your mind will just churn about the thoughts of giving your beloved character away. You will be keeping him/her, but you won't be playing them anytime soon. Never again.

4~ If you are really sure about giving up this game, I am very proud of you. Now go drop all of your equip in a drop party. You will be giving away things to people who really need it, and enjoy the game. But we are quitting this game, so no remorse.

5~ Once you drop all your armor and equips, go to your bank and change your pin. Close your eyes and just keep clicking on the same box. Then accept the numbers but don't look at them. If you do ever drift back to this game, you won't be able to access your bank. Then you will quit Runescape, again.

6~ Now, go to the section of the site where you can change your password. Here, just close your eyes and type random stuff. Once you are satisfied, copy and paste that to the re-enter password section. You will never go back now.

7~ Have someone help you forget Runescape. Working as a team and with friends is key to quitting anything. Teamwork, can solve many things. Have you and your friends find something new to do. Whether
