EPIC GLORY
There is no time
for the mind
to whisper in silence
crouched
in anticipation
for flight
and to do
what no man
has done before
in a moment of history
epic glory in a heart-beat
and with no time
for cyber space
or the flock
in imitation
in the other lanes
or the ambiance of Berlin
ears sharper than razor's edge
engulfed the sound
of the starter-gun
faster than lightning
magnetizing his mind
with no time to look behind
feet in flight
measured 200 meters
with requited bolt
at 19.19 seconds Seiko style
bursting the track
with enamored delight
bolt like lightning
raging with spectacular glory.

Walking past the past

Of becoming quite a

I realize there is no time
To absently waste our tomorrows
To look for what we can not find
Knowing
EPIC GLORY
There is no time
for the mind
to whisper in silence
crouched
in anticipation
for flight
and to do
what no man
