What is love?

Love is a very delicate topic. It is a different feeling for different people. Love is more then one emotion mixed into one. People find different ways to express it and even feel it, but it's mainly one thing. It's caring for someone more then you care for yourself. It knows that no matter what the love you have for someone will cause you pain.

Love is accepting someone for who they are and admiring every bit of them. Love is a passion that won't ever die, love is life. Without out love there can't be life. You don't have to love someone per say. You could have an undying passion for animals, or saving lives, or fire.

Love is never really what it seems, and some people can't really define it. Love is at first a feeling that you get, and you feel it throughout your being. Then you have to choose. Do you want to love this/them, is it worth it? The answer to that question brings you to the next stages.

Love is the same, but it is ever changing, and never the same feeling, and it has so many levels. For example you may lover your mother, but do you love you spouse the same way or differently?

Love is infinite, but it can be avoided. Life without love though, is a dark and dreary place. People who lead loveless lives are usually those cranky neighbors who live alone in an old dark house.

Many people stumble across this substitute form of love called lust, and they usually can't tell the difference between the two. Lust is a longing for someone's body, or what their body could give to you. Love is a passion for someone or thing, a feeling that is not possessive or obsessive.

When most people think love, they think ooy gooey mooshy crap, but its something so much more. It's a beautiful fulfillment of life, and a bond between two people, or a group of people, or an idea, or a job. Love can be for anything. Once you have the true definition of love, you'll never let it go.
