To relieve the pain
of many years of rain.
Sorrow of yesterday
brought back today.
No this is not to whine,
but to let become benign.
Years of tears and
pitiful brine.
My writing relieves the pain;
of watching so much fade away.
Wishing It could be yesterday
to fix what is needed today.
Final farewells
Words never said
Paths that should have been taken.
Sorrows never to be forgotten.
Words spoken from the past;
Leave words written continuously.
I write to never forget;
I must write to stay secure.
