After passing out from school, students generally are so very excited to go to college. Well, some are in a misconception that after 12 years of education, college is just a place to enjoy with friends and loiter around. And for many college is just a place to bunk. Some are excited to go to college, whereas some doesn't like it.. So it all depends upon the perception of the students. But some perceptions and misconceptions, may lead to a life where you don't have any choice but to repent on what you have done. Apart from the enjoyment, college is a place which shapes your future, which prepares you for your future job, to become a civilized citizen and lead a respectable life. So let's figure out some of the reasons, why college is important or why a person should go to college:
College helps in making you social: When you go to college, interact with people, make new friends, only then you can build a social relation and this will help you in near future. when you study in group, you will come to know different type of people. Though, in schools also, you interact with your pupils, but in college, you become more mature and this is the age where you come across good and bad people.
Helps shape your future:When you go to college, learn new things, new technologies and other subjects you are specialized in, you can plan your future accordingly. When you go to college, you have options of choosing a field you are interested in and you can make a career in a similar field.
College helps you get an appropriate job: In any field you go, minimum bachelor's degree is a must. So only when you go to college, can you get an appropriate job you are looking for. So graduating from a college is the basic criteria in any company, or in any field for that matter. Therefore, it helps in giving your career a kick start.
It helps improve your confidence: when you go to college , attend lectures, share your views with your peers and with your lecturers, would you be able to build confidence in yourself.
College gives you unlimited choices and options: When you go to college, interact with people, talk to your lecturers, you will get to know the options and choices that you have. And you can discuss with your friends, your parents and can choose the best options out of the lot. Its like going to a super market and picking the best products from the lot available. This will make your life very easy and you can concentrate on the field you have opted for with the help of your peers, teachers and parents.
Apart from the above mentioned reasons, there are N number of reasons why you should go to college. Apart from building a future, college gives you the best moments to enjoy life to the fullest. And life gives you just one chance, so experience the magical time of your life.
