Poetry: Lovers

by Wendy Holdren

Created on: August 20, 2009

Uncertainty is as certain as it gets.
Constant reminders - just don't forget.
Traveled time, once or twice.
Still seeing you - feels quite nice.
Hanging by a moment, hanging by a thread.
Tattered, torn, worn-out tread.
Walked a thousand hours to see you for one.
A kiss like that - this love's just begun.
Carefree days and sleepless nights.
Passionate embraces and afternoon delights.
Remembering way back when...
Looking in your eyes - this feels new again.
