A true Christian would have to be defined as someone who goes beyond the call for God. And even going beyond the call is almost impossible. God is worthy of everything that we do for him and more, so much more that we can not even imagine it.
Praying for a true Christian is a daily routine consisting of around four or more prayers a day. When a true Christian prays they have a organized way of praying. A prayer should consist of giving thanks to God for what he has done in your life and how he has worked in your life. It should also consist of things that we ask for, but we are reasonable, and only asking of the things that we actually need. I wouldn't ask God for a million dollars because the chances are of him giving me that are a million to one. You must pray for people, asking God to show them that God is the only way of salvation. You must also pray for yourself, that he will show you what his plan is for you and how you can full fill his plan.
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
A true Christian's life consists more of than the weekly routine of going to church and going on a mission trip once a summer. True Christians get involved in different events. As a true Christian you get involved in weekly activities at church, every time you meet someone new you tell them of the Glory of God. We worship God every day with our singing and our prayer, not just on Sunday. True Christians do good deeds and tasks everyday for God, and they do not gloat or want credit for what they have done. True Christians are silent for what they do for God, and are very driven to do everything and anything they can for God.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Farther through him."
-1 Colossians 3:17
Working hard on our own lives so that we are pleasing to god. True Christians must look at the way they live everyday to how they can change for God and the better. True Christians strive everyday to become more Christ like so that they please God. The everyday actions of a true Christian are very important. You must live a life worthy of God, and to do that your speech must be without profanity, anger, and anything God does not want us to show through our speech. Our actions are just as important to showing God our love and worshiping him. As a true Christian you should not dress inappropriately or lustfully. You must read the bible every day and learn more and more about God. If you have read the whole bible, read it over again.
"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such a faith save him?"
-James 2:14
A true Christian gives everything he has got to God. God gives us opportunities every day to serve him and we must take them and do whatever he asks regardless of whether it is embarrassing or wrong in other peoples' eyes. True Christians do not work to become popular to other people but they work to serve God.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -"
-Ephesians 2:8
