A passing thing , it seems these days, to open up a door,
give someone a friendly smile or give something to the poor.
We seem to be all wrapped up in a just-for-me world,
all reaching for that pot of gold or the next string of pearls.
I was giving a lift one day to a couple caught on foot,
as I dropped them of at a grocery store they left without a second look.
I would say that a few days back a 'thank you' would have been nice
and surely an offer of any thing would have been turned down polite.
So now I wonder if it would be rude to just proclaim out to the World,
a little Thank You everyone, it really doesn't hurt!

Poetry: Thank you
How can I say with words,
The way I truly feel?
You have been by my side
When things seemed so unreal.
You are a true friend.
You
Thank You, Lord
Thank You, Lord, for wanting me,
To be a part of Your great plan,
I could have been a tall oak tree,
Or not
Thank You......
How do I say I love you
In a way not yet expressed
How can I ever verbalize
What I felt deep in my soul
In the
The words thank you are so simple
Yet rarely ever said
As we lift ourselves
And go about our daily lives
We should acknowledge
Thank You
of all that I could say,
if ever I saw you today.
if I could just once find
you, Thank You, never crossed my mind.
