Playing Runescape is no fun if you can't enjoy having great things. And to get great things, you need a lot of money. Making money may be hard and time-consuming for most people. Mining is no exception to this. Clicking a rock over and over again can get very repetitive, but it is very rewarding. The key to making loads of cash in Runescape is to focus on one skill. Mining is a very good skill to use as ores are always in high demand. Whether you smelt your own ores to make bars or you sell the ores straight in the Grand Exchange, you should be racking in the cash. Here I will tell you the best methods to improving your mining, become more effective, and becoming rich.

To start off mining, your going to need to get yourself a bronze or iron pickaxe. You receive a bronze pickaxe for free from Tutorial Island. If you somehow managed to misplace it, head over to the Grand Exchange to purchase one for a cheap 15-20gp. Starting off at mining is very slow, but with these mining spots and strategies I will tell you, it well get very quick and easy. Once you have grabbed your pickaxe, you have the choice to mine clay, rune essence, tin, or copper. Clay can be mined at the mine southwest of Varrock. Copper can also be mined here but this spot is only essential if you are mining clay. To mine rune essence you must complete the Rune Mysteries quest, I advise you to not worry about this now. Tin and copper are located in the mine southeast of Varrock. Clay is the most expensive, but along with rune essence, it gives the least amount of experience. Tin and copper give more than 3 times the amount of experience than rune essence and clay. So now, you must choose tin or copper. Here is the options. You can go 50/50, and mine 14 copper then 14 tin to make 14 bronze bars. Only do this if you plan on raising your smelting skill. I advise you to not smelt your ores now, just stack up on copper. Copper is way more expensive in the Grand Exchange, so mine copper. Once you hit level 6, you should take a walk over to the Grand Exchange and purchase a steel pickaxe. With a new pickaxe, mining will become faster and more rewarding. So with your new pickaxe, you should be mining fairly quickly. Once you hit mining level 10, it may be a good choice to head over to mining clay. You should mine clay until level 15, then you can head over to the Grand Exchange. Here, sell all of your clay and copper ores. You should make a fairly good amount of money. This load of cash is a great way to
