NO, I would NOT send my child to war. I do not approve of war. No one wins in war, and all it does is destroy. People are killed, and maimed on both sides. The innocent, including children suffer unbearable misery and pain. Life becomes of no value. War is the ultimate sin of humanity.

Those who fight these wars are tormented and psycologically damaged for life. If we are attacked in our own country, of course we would have to defend ourselves, but we go all over the globe, fighting wars everywhere. Political leaders start wars over land, oil, past events, personal gain, and any other reason they see fit.

I did not bring my children into this world to be pawns for the benefits of wealthy political leaders. G.W.Bush was quick to start a war that has twisted and turned into so many directions that Americans can't keep up to why we are still in Iraq. Bush used the excuse that we were going to fight to get our revenge on Bin Ladin. His purpose for this war was to find Bin Ladin and kill him. A man who our government had done business with in the past.

It makes one wonder why Bin Ladin would decide to bomb the Twin Towers. Had our government ripped him off in some way? No one but those involved really know. Did our own government set it all up to cover up some political plot to misdirect citizens? There are far too many questions that are unanswered. Bush has squandered 3 billion dollars a month on this war that has lasted for years, and shows no let up. We still have not found Bin Ladin. Something is very suspicious about all this.

Bush expects us to sacrifice our own children to fight HIS war, but he would never consider sending his own spoiled daughters to fight it. If my child were faced with a draft to fight a mysterious war, I would see to it that he/she would go visit relatives in Canada - and stay there. More and more soldiers are dying by way of committing suicide, than are being killed in combat. They can not cope with all the evil doings of war.

Too many soldiers are coming back home without limbs. Blind, mutilated, and brain damaged. Many of them have become addicted to pain medications for pain, and many have become addicted to drugs to kill the emotional pain. Our economy has been hit by an economic Tsunami, and we are still spending 3 billion dollars a month to sacrifice our young people for a war that is chaotic and makes no sense.

We can not believe or trust our crooked government leaders, and we can not believe the news media any more either. We are so programmed by lies, that we don't know what to believe anymore. No. I would not send my child off to war. The Bible commands, "Do not kill," and it also says in Romans 12:19: "It is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
