I'm kicking you out
Yeah out of my heart
Because I no longer care
Don't want to hear the apologies
No not anymore
It's the same old story
I'm this and you that
I can't this because you that
No longer wash with me
No not anymore
I'm saying bye, bye, bye
To all this mess
You call love
Don't want to hear the apologies
No not anymore
Like the movie director
I say cut stop the tape
The tape of life you call love
Don't want to hear it anymore
No not anymore
Take a flight to the dark skies
Wicked bird of the night
Fly away from me
I'm not taking this anymore
No not anymore
Let's pull the curtains
On this final episode
Because I done
I'm not taking it anymore
No not anymore
The love is gone anyway
It died long ago
So why prolong the agony
Move on with you sad self
I'm not singing anymore sad songs
Saying hurtful things with no remorse
Twisting the truth for the devil's sake
Pretending to be sick for heaven's sake
Don't care about none of that
No not anymore
My life is more valuable
Than anything you say
I won't be made to believe
I'm worthless and no count
No not anymore
Like a devil in the night
Lurking around to devour me
You seek out my heart
To share with you demons
So I'm flying away to heights you can't find
I'm standing on the mountaintop
Looking down at you looking for me
Missing my sweet water
Wishing for one more day
But, I will be gone, gone for good
No more forgiveness for you
My understanding you dismissed
Heartfelt appreciation you flicked off
I'm no longer trying to be in your life
No not anymore
I don't want you anymore
I won't need you anymore
Just like I don't care anymore
I won't have to see you anymore
I'm sick of being sick of you
No more pain
No more pleading
No more thinking things will change
Because I see now you're lost to me
Yeah, no more, no, not anymore
Gone, gone for the best
The best for the both of us
Free to go on without the stress
To love again no more drama
No, no, no not anymore
No more, no more, drama

Poetry: Taking a stand
TELL THEM
Tell the executioner
He has nothing here to kill
Unless he can slay
The Lord's chosen way
Or crush His sovereign will
by Jay O'Toole
When taking a stand for Truth as it is,
we need to count the cost!
For others won't like the fact that we live,
by faith,
Sometimes you need to take a stand
Sometimes you have to tell the world
How you feel and say
"This is who I am"
It is always
Just another Old Guy
Just another Old Guy
Sittin' on a bench
Having spent a lifetime
Straddling the fence
Seems like things were
Poetry: Taking a stand
Taking a stand finally after so many years
of being stepped on, taken for granted,
for being bossed
