A daycare should have the listed child care learning centers:

Blocks- Building blocks are a great way to help develop a child's social, physical, academic and language development. While building construction sites and grocery stores with the blocks, children are able to socialize with their friends while expressing their selves. Interacting with other children is a large benefit in child development. While the child is playing, she/he is standing up, down and moving sideways to fit the blocks in the right place. Applying their physical skills to block building is usually needed. Having plenty of room for the children to move around is needed. Supply large and small building blocks, so that they have more to build with.

This is also a great way for children to use their fine motor skills. Eye-hand coordination is mandatory when building things with blocks. Mathematics are also reinforced when playing with building blocks. Children usually add and subtract blocks that are needed or not needed to their castle or building. Recognizing different sizes, shapes and angles of blocks is also an addition to children's mathematical learning.

Dramatic- Dramatic learning center, also know as the pretend center gives children the opportunity to express themselves and to socialize with other children their age. At the dramatic learning center, children can pretend that they are someone else and act out the role of different characters. Such characters can be, but not limited too, firemen, police officers, parents, children, hairdressers and chefs. Socializing and pretending is a great method of tuning children's vocabulary and language skills. Self-confidence and self-expression are also big factors when children are pretend playing. Feeling powerful like a fire-fighter can boost a child's confidence to help him or her later in life. Dramatic play helps children learn to organize and complete goals, while still having fun with their friends. Use an area in your child care center or daycare where children can play dress-up and display their pretend actions. You can buy or use Halloween costumes for your child care children to use while they are playing dress-up!

Math Center- During Math Center children can learn to add, subtract, multiply or divide. If it is counting pennies, macaroni noodles, or getting in groups of 2-4, the child is learning the subject of Math. Social skills are also reinforced in Math centers when children interact in groups to problem solve. The
