Clawing, grasping,
reaching towards the sun.
Curiously resilient,
ever growing, ever gaining strength.
O, what a wondrous thing it is,
powerful, so very strong.
What horror.
Dark and deep, growing ever stronger.
For in looking I found something unseen,
that sun I saw was my sun,
that creature not outside but in my very soul,
making me not me.

into my skin
I know what you want
I know where you've been.
Starving for food
and needed attention
You contaminate
Twisting and turning
Swimming and squirming
Burrowing and burning
Eating into your brain
Driving you to madness
Delusions, insanity
Out of every orifice
And into every creed
There crawled a rotten maggot
Who wanted us to bleed.
In every darkened crevice
