Web Design Basics
Graphics
1. Think small, like 10% 12KB image. Yes, according to the source, the number of broadband users is happening. But slow pages are still really annoying, even if you are on a T1. The large pictures are the main cause of slow pages. It is easy to optimize your images.
2. Always use graphics that fit the content. Just because you have a adorable picture of your dog does not mean that you should be on the design of your site (Sorry, Shasta ...). The main exception I would make of this "design" and images. These pictures or graphics that help to compensate for the design of the page, and are not intended to clarify the content.
3. Do not use images that blink or move or change or recycling or flash or do anything on your page. Or use it sparingly. There have been many studies that show that flashing graphics exchange and bothersome to people, in fact, in one focus group I watched the browsers actually physically cover flashing graphics so that they can read the rest of the pages.
Design
4. Stay unified format. I saw some pages that use 6 or 8 frames on one page. 6. The use of graphical elements in your designs. Graphics can be more than just the graphics used in the actual design elements of your own. Example is the extreme at the end of the text on the picture, but any image you have on your site is a component of the design and should be treated as such.
Lines
7. Sharif and without addresses - Sheriff of this text. If you have taken any type of printing and design, this may be just the opposite of what I learned, but the network does not print. No lines between the Sheriff to make it much easier on computer screens, because the screen resolution is not what it was in the printing. If you are using regular text, lines Sharif,
