I saw her face in my dreams last night,
Smiling lips and blue eyes so bright,
With countenance that could rival sunlight,
Her sudden appearance was for me a delight.
Dressed in garments of purest white,

The love of her does my soul ignite.
I saw her face in my dreams last night,
She let me know that she is alright,
And some day I'm sure we will reunite,
In God's heaven, by His power and might.
