How to spend 24 Hours in Singapore

Being an extremely small country, Singapore can easily be toured in one day. All locations of importance and excitement can be visited within 24 hours even if you are on a tight budget!

Morning

A morning tour by Viator is considered an unforgettable experience for anyone. Sitting in an air conditioned coach, all highlights of Singapore can be viewed within 4 hours. The vibrance of places like China Town, Little India and Merlion Park can be experienced in a very short time. Along the way, one can be given an orientation of places like the Parliament House, City Court, City Hall and finally Marina Bay before making a stop at Merlion Park where Merlion, the mythological creature of Singapore is located. Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist Taoist Temples can be visited before China Town where shopping is on the high. The beauty of National Orchid Garden and Singapore Botanic Gardens, where a huge collection of diverse flora is available, can also be enjoyed. Little India with all the spices and jasmine is also a place worth visiting. The City Tour's experience can be further enhanced by a flight aboard the Singapore Flyer, the world's largest observation wheel, from where Singapore's magnificent skyline and portions of Malaysia and Indonesia can also be seen. A most memorable morning it will be.

Afternoon

A whole afternoon can be spent relaxing on the country's Sentosa Island. From Mount Faber, a cable car takes passengers to the island where one can easily spend 7 hours enjoying the Dolphin Lagoon and Sentosa's Underwater World amongst other attractions. Pink Dolphins steal the show at first with their tail flapping, calling and tail walking. An even closer look at marine life can be taken at the Underwater World where over 2500 sea creatures are present! Images of Singapore, Songs of the Sea and Sentosa Cineblast shows complete an afternoon to remember with special effects, water jets and fire are used to portray the rich cultural heritage of the country.

Night

The jungle comes alive at dusk and what better a time to experience it other than at night? A tour through the Singapore Zoo Night Safari can complete the day on an extravagant note. From the safety of the passenger's tram, amidst moonlit vegetation, one can acknowledge the beauty of the shyest of animals to the fiercest of beasts in their natural habitat. Dinner at the Ulu Ulu Safari restaurant offers all kinds of local and international foods under one roof and is pleasing for both children and adults. Wooden beams and Rattan fans complete the ethnic setting along with Ankole cattle, frogs and cicadas in the background.

Regarded as one of the best leisure attractions in the world, Singapore is a place worth visiting, even only for a day!
