Oily skin can be quite a hassle to take care of with the frequent breakouts, large pores and shine. If you let the oil your skin has its way, your skin will start looking very dull and you will have more breakout than you can handle; followed by enlarged pores that could make you look more than your age. Hence you need to follow a skin care routine religiously if you want a face that looks so much younger and healthier than your age. This will take effort from your part.
Here, I will show you what you need to get that perfect looking skin and how to use them as well.
Wrap your head properly so that your hair does not get in the way of your skin care routine. Get all the items ready. You will need a cleanser, a toner, a moisturizer, scrub, mask, pore corrector, pimple or acne cream, oil control serum and eye care such as eye serum, mask and moisturizer.
Cleanser
Firstly, cleanse your face thoroughly. A milk cleanser is good for an oily skin. Take adequate amount in your palm and apply on your whole face. Then start working it into your skin.
1) Start from your chin. Massage gently with your index and middle finger in circular movement. Start from the tip of your chin and work upwards. Follow the chin massage by massaging your lip area. Massage from inside out.
2) Next, concentrate on cleansing your nose. Do circular massage on your nostril area and then lift up from your nose bridge up to your forehead.
3) Follow this with a massage on your forehead in circular movements.
4) Follow this with cheek massage from inside out, upwards. Massaging your cheek area should start from your nose area and end at your temples.
Do all the actions for up to six sets. Follow this with a gentle massage on your neck area. Depending on your cleanser, either wipe it off your face or rinse it completely.
Face Mask or Face Scrub
Follow cleansing with a face mask. Note that face masks should be used only once a week or twice, depending on your skin condition. For oily skin, be sure to use a face mask which unclogs pores and deep clean your skin. A peel off mask is great for oily skin. Depending on your skin condition and taste, choose the one that you deem best. For more info, you can read "How to choose the best facial mask for your skin."
This step can be used for scrubbing instead of applying face mask. Scrubbing should also be done once or twice a week, depending on your skin condition. Scrubbing helps to get rid of dead skin cells (exfoliation) and make your face glow.
