How can I say I love you
to a mum that isn't there.
How can I say I'm sorry
if it seemed I didn't care.
How can I ever thank you
for letting me be me.
Even though it hurt you
watching me fly free.
How can I let you know
I appreciate it all.
You stuck by me always
when you could have let me fall.
No longer here to do it
and we're so far apart.
Who will tell my sister
I love her with all my heart.
So many things I should have said
these are just a few.
I only hope you hear me...
When I whisper I love you.
