Why are women victimizing themselves by allowing a man to gain such control over the situation? Submission of one's self respect gives your partner the power to do whatever he pleases with you. How is this a good foundation to build a life upon together? It is essential to show your partner that you are an independent person. Independence gives fruit to an individual in becoming a person who not only has something to offer to themselves but also to their partner. If you hold yourself high, then your partner will treat you in such a manner. Desperation and pathetic attempts of getting a ring will only bring you unhappiness in the long run. Is the short term giddiness worth it? When a man sees you as a weak person, he will lose respect for you. What happens when your partner loses respects for you? He stops being your friend. When the friendship is gone, your marriage ends too. Things can spiral downwards rather rapidly. Why ask for trouble when it can be avoided by just listening to a few of my tips.
Men love a woman who can think for herself and that has a high self-esteem. This is a very attractive trait and only produces good benefits for you. By loving yourself and keeping him at arm's length, you will be the one in control. He will be begging you to marry him, instead of the other way around. Show him that he is lucky to even be in your life. Be good to him but also remind him of the things that you do for him. Be sexy. Dress well. Socialize. Allow your happiness to stem from the way you live your life, not from your relationship. Keep your relationship separate from who you are. Do not forget your individuality. He will be proud to be with you. Your partner will do everything possible to try to keep you interested. Be the woman who is not looking for the ring but have the ring looking for you.
