When you first go to the site, you are struck by how messy it looks. There are a lot of different pieces of information in no particular order. However, spurred on by my yearning for earning, I signed up. This was very simple to do, and in no time I was ready to go.
Having signed up, I flicked through the site briefly, to get an idea of what the site was all about. Basically, there are a list of topics, and you can post in these topics. Generally posts are created in the form of a question. What you are looking for is a response to your questions. It is for every response that you get, that you get paid.
Off I went. I posted a few questions, and sat back. I was already counting the millions. I had imagined going to shops, wearing a crown, and smoking a havana (both paid for by my lot!). Nothing happened. Still I waited. No response. So I went to a section, which allowed me to look at all the most recent posts. I would say 90% of them were getting no response.
With a bit of a deeper search on the site, I found that there were some posts that got many responses. But they seemed to come from the same bunch of people. I guess it would be the same as what the dooyoo team would call a 'clicking cartel'. This disgusted me slightly, as the site promotes itself as a social networking site, yet I could not get talking to people because they had formed there little group, and would not let me in! Where's the love? It was a far cry from you guys on dooyoo, who interact well with me here.
That said, I kept going. If nothing else, I just wanted to see what the payouts were like. Eventually I got a few replies. The next day these were credited to my account. I got one cent for each response! I started messing about with mylot three months ago, and today my account stands at twelve cents. Needless to say I have not been there for a long time, and don't think I will ever again.
So, overall I would say that mylot is pretty poor. It is a social networking site, that does not enable you to make friends. It is a money earning scheme that does not enable you to earn money. And it is an over used, over hyped place to be. My advice to you is to stay away. If you want to try, I will send you a link to refer you. I will wish you well, but I will feel a bit sad, because I know you are wasting your time.
Of all the ways to generate a bit of extra cash on the net, only two have proven themselves to me. Our beloved dooyoo, and ciao (for the surveys.). If you guys know of any good ones, drop me a line. But please save yourselves from the hassle of mylot. A lot of work for nothing.
Not recommended. G
