When should you give an ex a second chance

Many of us have had experiences with our ex's that make us think twice. Some of us regret letting them go and the rest of us stand by the decision 100%. We believe we did the best thing and that is it. Besides, they became the "ex" for a reason. However, there is always that chance of error. Have you been there? I'm sure you have at one point or another. You are sitting alone one night and begin looking back over the good times you and your ex had together. You start to wonder why he or she became the ex. Then you come to a conclusion realizing that you didn't do everything you could to make the relationship work. Below are reasons to give your ex a second go.

You recognize a negative pattern in your relationships

A great reason to give your "ex" a second chance is if you see a pattern of destruction in your connections. For example, you last 5 boyfriends seemed to complain about the same things concerning you. If the same issue keeps coming up, then it is something within yourself. If you are a part of the conflict, then the problem must be you. Once you realize it is not your ex that is the problem, then you should consider giving them a second chance.

You didn't get all the facts

This happens to the best of us. You think back about the breakup and realize you never got all the facts. You jumped to conclusions and didn't give your ex a chance to explain. This caused you to be mad at him or her for months. You also realize time went by without communication. This just contributed to the decay of the relationship.

You love them

If you love someone and they love you, you should make it work. There is no question about it. Love is such a powerful emotion and it should be taken seriously. When you love someone, you work out problem's and attempt to come to a resolution. This is what people do. Giving up is usually the last option and does not become a viable alternative unless two people have come to that agreement. However, if you truly are in love, try to give the person a second chance.

You just want to give them one more try

If you simply want to see what happens then you should give your ex a second chance. You know what is best for you and you should do what your heart tells you. Make sure you arrive with no past baggage. Arrive with a heart full of love and forgiveness.

Going back with your ex may show you something you never thought was in you. Have the courage to admit your wrong and try to see the situations from all sides. Once you do this you will have a better connection and the issues you had will not get in the way of your relationship.
