If
If someday the cold wind blows
The snow around your door
And should the flowers refuse to bloom
Leaves on trees no more
You might find me knocking gently
Though when you open I'm not there
Just think of me with a loving heart
I'll know you will always care
When darkness fills up every room
And twilight soon descends
That wind that whistles outside the window
Is only me again
Watching quietly as you sleep
Each breath you take I smile
Knowing that you'll come to me
In just a little while
So sleep my angel, lover, friend
The road to me is long
Knowing soon you will be
Right where you belong
