Songs: Faith

by Ambrose Oyamo

Created on: August 17, 2009

Greatly Indebted,

How can I be proud when I'm in debt

Live like I'm worth my means

When You remind me I'm just but a

Steam of breath in the nostril.

Your love , Oh Lord, renders me a debtor

Debt so great I can't even grasp

Beyond silver or gold, words or works

Yet without surerity You have lavished it on me.

One thing ,my Savior, do You ask of me

One thing that I hesitate to give or pledge

Yes, my obedience to your blameless and priceless ways

The only perfect way to choose life over death, light over darkness.

How I pray for a heart of flesh and not of stone

That I will be mindful of all your concerns

Eager to walk in and do your sovereign will

May my soul and everything in me delight in You.
