words challenge me to think
and one of the words i have
been giving thought, for better
quality of life, is the word "allow"

i began allowing myself to more
fully experience life, leaving my
fears behind and just experiencing
what life has for me without limits

it also becomes clearer that i can
allow people around me to feel
however they feel, act however
they act, talk, think and i then

find i am less likely to react to
any affects/effects they wish to
have on me, as well, i am free to
allow my peaceful life to flow naturally

for fear diminishes, allowing myself
to live in the moment without the anxiety
of needing to control every situation
or outcome of situations

in actuality, in allowing the past to
disappear, we allow ourselves to
become open to the now and a
willingness to live unobscured

by expectations we placed on
ourselves and others in the past
free to allow happiness, love
and life changed into simplicity
