Various other wedding guests.
Setting: Nighttime. Chairs set up outside, separated by an aisle, with various guests seated on both sides talking amongst themselves. Red rose petals are scattered along the aisle, leading to several feet in front of a large oak tree. Numerous candles light the area, as stars twinkle in a cloudless sky. A single white candle sits unlit between two red lit candles on a table at the base of the tree.
Scene opens with Duane standing at the head of the aisle, Rev. Walker on one side, his best man on the other. Dressed in black jeans and shirt, he laughs nervously at something Rev. Walker says.
Rev. Walker: (Noticing a signal from behind the guests.) Last chance to back out here Duane. (He chuckles.)
Duane: (Completely serious.) Our hearts were joined the moment we met. There is no way I would back out.
Rev. Walker: (Placing his hand on Duane's shoulder.) Only a poor attempt to ease your nerves. No offense intended.
(Before Duane can respond, music fills the air as Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X begins to play and a hush falls over the crowd. They all turn to see Selina start down the aisle dressed in black jeans and blue shirt.)
Selina: (Stopping in front of Duane and kissing him on the cheek.) She looks beautiful, Daddy.
(Selina takes her place as the Wedding March begins. All guests stand as Karl and Beth begin down the aisle. Beth is dressed in black jeans and white top, carrying two red roses and two white roses. Her gaze instantly locking with Duane's, never wavers as she walks down the aisle, the love they share visible to everyone in attendance. As Beth and Karl come to a stop in front of Rev. Walker, the guests take their seats.)
Rev. Walker: Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here tonight, before God- and in the face of this company- to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore- is not by any- to be entered into lightly- but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together- let them speak now or forever hold their peace. (Rev. Walker pauses, allowing time for any who may protest. Duane looks around as if daring anyone to speak up.
