I'LL GO OUT IN A BLAZE
Give it up, it will kill you, I constantly hear,
The incessant criticism from the pure.
But my 30 a day don't present me with fear,
Lung cancer - they're sure to find a cure.
Alzheimer's has got you I'm frequently told,
As I frantically look for my keys.
"Rack off," I mutter. "I'm not yet that old."
While I search the gas oven on my knees.
I drive to the pub, a pool game in mind,
Where my mates would usually imbibe.
They've been there a while, they're already primed,
From their spouses they'll have to hide.
So lunch cancer, Alzheimer's and probably a drunk,
will see out the end of my days.
But why would you expect me to live like a monk,
With my ailments, I'll go out in a blaze.
