Look to the open door,
Human existence as we know it, is simply a group of experiences preceded, and followed by an opportunity. If a certain opportunity is recognized, and exploited, then this creates a brand new set of occurrences. If, on the other hand the same Prospect is missed, then most likely, the current experiences in our lives will continue as they are, until the next opportunity comes along. And so the direction of our lives is truly in our hands.
Life is a series of doorways, that constantly open, and close. New challenges await those of us who move through some of these passageways, as we are encouraged to grow, and adapt, to the changes in circumstances. This is the evolutionary process at work.
However, the one true enemy to evolution is fear of the unknown, as even creation itself is helpless against a closed mind, and a heavy heart. With worry, and anxiety clouding the ability to use the power of faith, logic, and reason, most of the doors that appear before us, are never opened. And when our lives become devoid of new experiences that pull us onward, we stagnate, and wither into silent despair. Our souls cry out for us to move forward. But more often, than not, we do not listen, as fear becomes the prominent voice in our lives. This fear can, and does take many forms, i.e. negative thoughts, self defeating words, I can't, I don't deserve, I will fail, and self justification for not seizing an opportunity, commonly know as excuses.
The 2 most precious commodities in the universe are time, and energy. When we contemplate our lives, we must stop, and truly consider how much of both have been squandered on doors that have already closed behind us, this being our past of course. The past is familiar, and even if unpleasant; we will still find comfort in this familiarity. Some people have become so comfortable with the past, they spend the entirety of their lives trying to pry open a door that leads to a life that no longer desires them, but still, they will never stray far from a door that goes nowhere.
All happenings in the universe have purpose, as the creator of all things has a perfectly designed plan for every molecule of matter. And this plan does not involve regression in any way, shape, or form. We are meant, and in fact, programmed to always move in a direction that brings us to a greater understanding of love, sensitivity, compassion, and the nature of our true selves. This is, and has always been God's Plan for his children.
We were given eyes, so that we may see the door open in front of us. We were given ears, so that we may hear the gentle roar of the voice within, calling for us to choose a higher path. One that takes us towards the light, instead of the dark. And last, but not least, we were given the ability to overcome the darkness of our fear, so that we can become a shining example to for others to follow, as we march joyfully, and fearlessly through the open doors of opportunity.
Look always to the open door ahead, and leave the doors behind locked up tight. For the past is exactly as the word impliesthe moment has passed.
God bless the doors of opportunity, opening in your life!
