please, note
these snowflakes that have frozen in the -
sky? - no, air.
all freezes when touched by air.
those words.
iced.
those lies cling delicately on the branches,
threatening to fall,
threatening to bring the tree
downwards.
what are words if they are frozen?
if they melt, do they retain their shape?
for what is a snowflake once it touches your tongue -
nothing.
let the hush of night collapse over you.
stitch your lips together,
your words mean nothing now,
so why speak them?
you twist your words like ivy,
finding every crack and fault.
vines
break all apart,
causing the strongest of brick to crumble
and collapse.
my skin is cracked and bleeding,
though not caused by the cold.
like a step missed in the dark -
your heart will stop.

Poetry: Lies
Cross your heart,
And hope to lie.
Truths be told,
Then people cry.
Mix them up,
And tell me which is which.
Then within
Lies, lies, fingers in pies
You just can't admit it, your high as a kite
Your bubbling and brooding will get you nowhere
Something happened
Something did
I should
But I don't regret it
Other people were there
Other people know
One of them told her
They

in an intricate
lace-patterned cloak
of deceit
and slowly
it
I wish I could have seen
your face when you told me
"I love you"
I just know you were winkng
at the girl all dressed in
