CLARITY
If I could see the stars
I would listen closely
To also hear the celestial beat of angels' wings.
I would stand in the beam of moonlight;
Become an ethereal statue and
Ascend up into the heavens.
Maybe I would whisper in God's ear.
With levity in motion and in that space that knows no time,
I would gaze upon my life 'til now.
Voyeur. And also the voyeured.
Clarity served by the breaking sun on a golden pillow
Would transcend even the transcendental.

Come to me Clarity

by Jay O'Toole

but still, Let me be clear,
my broken life so marred by sin,
is, also, to TRUTH near.
