Innocence Of A Child...
Oh, to one more time have the innocence of a child.
Not a teenager ruined by the world and gone wild.
To be able to Love and trust like a child without pause.
Not like afterwards when tainted with so called just cause.
Oh to live life like a child without any fears.
Unlike what happens later to us through the years.
To once again Love everyone without any pause.
Not like afterwards when tainted with so called just cause.
To be able to have fun and play without worries on your mind.
Nothing to bother you, no frets and problems of the real kind.
To never hold onto anger always willing to forgive and forget.
Nothing getting them down and causing any lasting regret.
Children do not hold anger and malice.
Causing their hearts to harden and grow callous.
That takes too much time; they have no time to harbor hate.
It is easier to forgive and forget, not interrupt their play date.
No problems so big that daddy's hug won't heal.
All your friends are true friends with a friendship seal.
Children don't forget the importance of family time.
Children aren't afraid of a little dirt and grime.
Children believe you at your word no matter what you say.
They have not learned about untruths and people that stray.
I think adults can learn so much from a child.
If we could learn from them before we've gone wild.

Unearthly monsters
