When the lessons of life,
Come flying your way;
And they sting as they smite you,
Day after day,
Don't worry. You're growing.
In the the 'school of hard knocks',
Much knowledge is your gain,
But it doesn't come easy.
In fact it comes with much pain.
But don't worry. You're growing.
Oh the growing pains of life,
Seem insurmountable and immense.
You seem stretched to your limits.
And though it doesn't make much sense,
Don't worry. You're just growing.
