Never before have I hated anyone until I met you
Some husband you were, always cheating, always beating
Never drying my tears, only contributing to my pain
I had to get you out before I went insane
Controlling all of my moves, trapping me in a box
While you seduced other women, all around the clock
Stealing my belongings and taking my only friends
Never will I forgive you, never can we make amends

Is there room for hate in the world,
only to have the energy
zapped out of our souls,
by the actions that
feed off this

It takes root in the garden,
spreading its tendrils, slowly poisoning the ground,
