Bright, pale, delicate, intrepid.
They are proud to bring beauty to this tired earth...
but they brag of their glory, only in God, who created them.
They know that they can trust Him with their soft petals,
that the Lord is gentle, and takes pride in being their help and support.
Even as they wither, their roots are grounded in His care,...
and nourish the lovely flowers that are yet to come.
