Teens will be heading back to school soon so that means that it is time to break out the credit cards and hit the malls. If you are hoping to make a major statement when you go back to school this year try some of the latest trends and new looks in fashion and beauty this fall. Use any or all of the hottest new makeup trends featured here along with all the haute new styles in fashion and you will be guaranteed to get an A+ when it comes to style. First we'll start with the top five newest trends in makeup.

1. Light up the classroom with sparkling glitter.

Dust translucent powder below your eyes to catch any lose glitter. Make a sticky base by applying ChapStick to your eyelids. Brush gold glitter close to your lash line. Apply silver glitter from the crease of your lid to the brow bone. Dust away any excess powder and glitter using a big face brush.

2. Stay minty fresh!

Apply a base coat to your finger nails. Using a pale, minty green color paint each nail by making a streak of color down the middle of your nail, followed by a streak down each side. Finish off your nails with a shiny top coat. Use a creamy gold highlighter to give skin a subtle glow. Dab the color lightly on your lips, eyelids and cheeks.

3. Smoking red hot lips and thickly lined eyes.

Using a black gel liner, draw a line following the crease of your eye and wing it out at the corner of your eye. Fill inside the line two times so that it is sharp and dark. Use a bright red lip color and apply it directly to your lips from the tube. Blot your lips with a tissue then reapply a second layer to ensure the color will last.

4. Shockingly loud pink will be sure to get you heard in class without ever saying a word!

Apply a cream, fuchsia colored lipstick to lips and then press them together. Without bloating your lips, apply another coat of color. Use a small, fluffy brush to apply a shimmery, nectar colored eye shadow on to the lids and along the lower lash lines of your eyes. The color will balance the intense lip color. Lightly sweep hot pink blush on your cheeks and blend it all the way up to your temples.

5. Bright blues and purple will make you the star of the class.

To make your eyes brighter use a shimmery lilac shadow from the inner corners of your eyes to the creases. Line your entire top and bottom lash lines with bright, blue-green shadow using a stiff brush. This will give your eyes definition. In order to punch up the look,
