Children are the future of the society and future of society depends very much on the good upbringing and education of the children or coming generations. A child is like clay and we can give him any shape. The behavior of child affected by his/her living conditions and environment. For the better development children need healthy and happy environment of the family. Turbulence and conflicts can affect the soft and nave minds of children. Children are very innocent and pure by heart and they need a lot of care and protection.

Child abuse affects the growth and development of children very badly. Sometimes people don't understand or forget that children need the respect in the same way we do as an adult. The victims of child abuse need more help and support then any adult who is exploited or suffered abuse. Such children need proper counseling. If they don't get enough love, support and care from their families or suffer abuse repetitively within the family, then they become very fragile in nature.

Such children grew up with a negative outlook towards the society. When they grew up their frustration and anger towards society come out in form of revenge. It has been seen that many serial killers or rapist had history of child abuse and they have accepted that to reduce their pain and frustration they started committing the crime. Thus, such children become dangerous for the society in long-term.

However, it is not necessary that all victims of child abuse would become criminal, but they live their remaining life with lack of confidence towards the relationships and society. They can be self-destructive and suicidal in nature. Such children become easily addicted to drugs, alcohol and sex. They develop disbelief in social institutions like family and marriage and believe more in individualism. Their destructive nature causes a number of problems in the society. Child abuse also increases juvenile crime in the society.

Such children are more at risk of mental problems. The feeling of insecurity and guilt prevents development of their natural skills and they found it very difficult to learn new things. They develop a kind of disinterest towards everything. They prefer to live alone and spend a lonely life. Thus, either they don't contribute in productivity or don't contribute according to their capabilities. So this way they become burden for the society and communities.

Child abuse not only affects the innocent children and their families but it also affects the society as society is made from units like human who lives within its boundaries and institutions like family and marriage.
