No one ever said that life would be graceful.
Infiniti is present at every roll of the dice.
We live for our expectations as we fade with our regrets.
Striding through the curves of a seemingly random path.
Never deviate for more than a heartbeat.
Existential contradiction surrounds me and I breath it all in.
Living enables our habitual inability to abandon ourselves.
Fear, lust, reason, ambition. Happiness perhaps.
Tearing through the fabric of our human condition, we are living and leaving.
But how can we know how to live when no one showed us the way?
How can one person only know where the hurt is while another where happiness dwells?
Upon the remains of our latter days, all that we will bear to do is fade away.
Fade into the uncertainty that we failed to grasp.
But why must uncertainty be ignored?
The emotions that I evoke and reason with.
And the fear that consumes me.
If only I knew what will happen next.
No one will ever know when uncertainty will mocks us.
No one is true.
In my dreams, a beautiful face reaches out to kiss mine.
I am overwhelmed with moments of happiness that leave me feeling empty.
I refuse to wake up and regret inevitably follows.
My humanity beckons me to live.
And I can never be too strong.
As the tears drown my contradictions, I resolve to live.
I will deviate from the randomness.
And my heart skips a beat.

Poetry: Resolve
by Cliff Watley
Give Me The Chance You Have
Oh mother to be
You have power over me
My life is your decision
My future is your vision
To be or
time flows by me without any motion
sitting here wondering what could have been
thinking about all the paths we have chosen
where
by G E Barr
Steel reserve
Blueprints in hand
Beautiful days
In another land
Away from all this
Insanity
A Bard has reason
To be so free
My mind lays stretched before me
On a forgotten path
Leading myself neither here nor there
Just emptiness and black slate mar
Quietly surrender
Or furiously fight back
Be a part of the wind
Or become the force of the breeze.
