Avon, a dynamic door-to-door, catalog make-up sales business has been recruiting people to sell their product for years. As a vibrant, energetic Avon Sales Representative, your job is to faithfully earn your commission by developing a customer base and faithfully serving those customers. You need to get out there and meet new people, ask for referrals, and follow up leads.
There are several things you can do to boost your Avon sales. Some of them require an added investment on your part, while others can be as simple as a spontaneous gesture or comment. The most important thing is to get to know your customers so you can personalize your service to them. After that, your job is to build a relationship based on mutual trust. When two people trust each other, they are more likely to work well together, and when you work well with your customers, chances are they will purchase more of the products you sell.
Boosting Sales by Investing in Your Avon Business
One of the easiest ways to boost your sales is to find new customers. You can do this by distributing more catalogs for every campaign, and being consistent with your catalog distributions. If you target a specific neighborhood to get new customers, remain dedicated to that neighborhood for at least 3 to 5 campaigns, being sure to give people enough opportunity to place an order.
When you get a new customer, take the time to develop a good relationship, and then ask them if they know anyone who might be interested in purchasing Avon products from you as well. You can even offer them a discount on their next order for every referral you receive.
Another way to boost your Avon sales through investment in your business is to pad the catalog. Purchase perfume and lotion samples and staple them to the correct pages. Place your catalogs in a clear plastic bag with a lipstick or blush sample. Be clever when you do this, and pick something your customer can't resist.
You can also host an Avon party, or ask one of your customers to host one. Give your party a theme, and have door prizes of your more expensive products. If you'd like to earn big on Avon's clothing line, you can host a fashion show. You'll need to invest in the clothing beforehand, but if you have a nice crowd, your return on your investment should be quite measurable.
