Everyone likes to find cool wallpaper for their desktop. The Windows blue sky and green field (or even worse, the blank screen with the four-color Windows logo) gets old very quickly. Some people like to use personal photos as wallpaper, but if you're looking for something different to spice it up, here are some websites where you can find cool wallpaper pictures:

- DowWallpaper.com
This site has plenty of pictures for everyone - from Winnie the Pooh to wind surfing, and just about everything in between. It's very user-friendly, and each picture can be downloaded in different sizes, depending on your screen resolution and monitor size. There is even an option to download the pictures sized for your mobile device.

- DesktopWallpapers.net
Here you will find over 2,000 pictures divided into six different categories - animals, aviation, cars, celebrities, places, sports, and miscellaneous. You can also search the site if you're looking for something specific.

- CelebrityDesktop.com
If you're looking for celebrity wallpaper, this site has actors, sports stars, TV shows, musicians, and more to choose from. With over 9,000 different wallpaper pictures, you can spend a long time browsing around here. Fortunately, the site has a Google-powered search feature to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

- Webshots
With the Webshots Desktop Application & Toolbar, you can use your own photos (or public photos downloaded from the Webshots site) as your wallpaper and screensaver. The application is fairly customizable, and there is a FAQ on the website to answer any questions about it you may have.

- Digital Desktop Wallpaper
This website offers plenty of wallpaper categories to choose from, including a neat "3D and Abstract" section. The pictures are available in different resolutions, and the site is easy to navigate. Users can submit their own pictures to be featured on the site.

- Disney.Go.com
For Disney wallpaper, Go.com is the place to be. You can view pictures from different Disney animated movies to download as wallpaper, and most seem to be available in both 1024x768 and 800x600 sizes.

If you have a thing for a certain movie, TV show, or band, you can probably find a fan site with different wallpaper pictures to choose from. For example, fans of Arrested Development (the short-lived TV show) can download wallpaper from MSN.com, and G.I. Joe fans can get wallpaper for the newly-released movie, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, from the movie's official website.

You should be able to find plenty of wallpaper pictures to choose from now. And all of the sites listed here have one thing in common - they're free.
