He traveled with his grandmother exploring the cuisine along Mexico's Baja Coast. Dennis learned to prepare great Mexican food with fresh fruits, vegetables, top quality meats, fish and chiles. He later met his wife Lizabeth. Together they continued to tour, research and spent countless hours perfecting their cuisine. On February 10, 2000 the Taqueria was open while the restaurant was being completed. This beautiful Hacienda was finished the second week of February 2001 starting a new traditional adage "Where Mexican cuisine becomes a work of art."
Once you step through the wise wooden door, you'll feel like you're in the heart of Guadalajara, Mexico. There are magnificent courtyards, fountains, fireplaces, stained glass windows and lots of rich wood draping. The walls wear lush alluring colors of Mexico adorned with striking authentic embellishments collected by Dennis and Liz during their travels. The colorful ceramic tiles and hand painted crafts add just the right stroke of rustic warmth. The dining room is divided into several welcoming ambiances. The entire estate oozes a feel of sensuality and romanticism.
Their lunch specials start at 5.99 with additional entries ranging from 7.00 to 14.00 per plate. The Flying Saucer Especialidades use the freshest blend of tender beef, pork or chicken on a crisp tortilla, with beans, lettuce, salsa fresco, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. The Cantina offers a large selection of premium tequilas, 15 different margaritas and Mexican beers along with a full bar.
