God's Grace
Words did not part my lips, though fully understood,
mine as it were, a mere shadow and not of much use,
passing reminders of words that fell silently around me,
among tears, that knew the oceans.
Images encumbered by light, gazing through me,
until every corner lay bare, finding my shadows,
casting about subtle truths long ago forgotten,
now finding the rivers trail.
Irrepressible light whispers through me, about me,
fleeting as though uninvited, and yet yielding to me,
my feet running to that which finally found me,
there at the rivers edge.
In fullness it embraced me, brought me to myself,
whole, aware, renewed, refreshed in my being,
not faint as a shadow, with words lost in a corner,
but true to myself, My God, His Grace.

Poetry: Grace
Silence fills the air around
Peace descends within
Buried deep beneath the chaos
There's a new life to begin
Emotional exhaustion
She peered from the box
Her nose in the air
Sniffing and smelling
She had love to share
I scooped her up
Into my arms
Her
Sandpaper hits the nerves again. I hit the ceiling.
I turn around and wonder what happened,
how I've fallen so far in so
Smoothly she moves
Natural with her grace
Not making a sound
Not raising her face
Neck well defined
Black dress all that's
I'm That Girl
I was that girl
the one who gave into her lusts
that maybe you think you can't trust
the one you think deserves
