Climber.
I've faced a mountain in myself,
a monumental climb in me,
I've sat on my own frozen shelf,
and seen below all I could see.
I've seen my pools of deep despair,
and clouds so dark I dare not look,
and woodland glades of little care,
as gentle as a friendly brook.
I've seen my friends and foes alike,
all single units playing nice,
though some are loud as motorbike,
I've others, quiet country mice.
I've seen another mountain side,
to face before my strength has died!

Deep within
I call my bluff
Against this savage I must win
Even if I have to play rough
Deep within another man lurks
Terrible
Deepness dipped deeply within me again so deeply today, & yet for me to see.
Happiness in its mysterious darkened deepness
Deep within
shadows from the past
tunnels into the future
how long does it last
Lights fading to darkness
people passing no one
