It puts an enormous responsibility on a husband to ensure his wife is happy, however if  he loves her unconditionally, respects her, supports  her endeavors, chances are she will be happy. In the final analysis, the decision to be happy rests solely with her. If a wife is confident in her own skin, and is loved unconditionally, there are a number of  things her husband can do to enhance or add to her sense of wellbeing,  which should lead to her happiness.

Great communication

There is nothing more tiresome in a marriage than a spouse having to discern what is on the mind of a mate. Most ascribe to the notion that husbands are the head of  the house hold; therefore, it becomes his obligation to ensure communication flows smoothly. He can also listen and respond to his wife appropriately. When communication between them is effective, he he paves the road fof them to handle just about anything that happens in the marriage.

Endless love

There are husbands who have difficulty saying "I love you," but if they can purse their lips to utter those words, especially if they do not say them often, those three words will probably put their wives on cloud nine. Wives not only want to be told they are loved, but they also want to have that love demonstrated in ways that are unique. For example, try purchasing five roses, rather than the customary one, and present them to her. Tell her that  you thought of five reasons why you love her and then proceed to list them as you enfold her in your arms and kiss her. Romance really works.

Assist with household chores

When each member of the couple works, there will be little time for romance, especially when the wife does the bulk of the household chores. Many old gender roles have been either eradicated or redefined, yet, for many households chores are still pretty much the responsibility of the wife. If husbands agree to do fifty percent of household chores, their wives will probably start seeing them as a partner. This act alone will no doubt enhance their happiness.

Fantastic sex

Sex is an important component in practically all marriages. There was a time women did not discuss their sexual preferences or their dissatisfaction, but because sex is no longer a taboo subject, husbands should discuss any sexual disfunctions with their wives immediately. Ask questions and demand truthful responses. Sexual dissatisfaction is one of the leading causes of female infidelity. Plan date nights or set aside time when the two of you can be alone to reignite the passion in your marriage. Women like to be wooed, so on your date nights, treat her as you did when you were dating. This will not only make her happy, but it will create an enhanced state of intimacy for both of you.

One of the reasons so many marriages fail is because there are unrealistic expectations with respect to happiness. In all probability, husbands cannot/ will not be the single source of their wives happiness unless that is their choice, which is also unreasonable. If a wife's nature is positive and forward thinking, it will be the husband's responsibility to see that she stays that way by supporting her and by loving her unconditionally. That will in all likelihood make her extremely happy.
