These are some quick cleaning tips, BUT also some inexpensive tips too, which always makes it better!

1. Clean as you go! A tough one sometimes, but really if you put something down to do later, you're just making more work for yourself.

2. Static cloths: Perfect invention they are, getting all the dirt, dust, hair, all in one! But, they are pricey, so try the dollar store version 20 for $1.00

All dollar store cleaning wipes are real money savers and work just as well.
AND, if you have a toddler, they love to dust/mop with a static cloth wand, they think its fun so enlist their help! If you have multiple kids, give them all chores to help out but make a game out of it, if its a major project for the family, get some rewards for your workers!

3. IF you have little ones, tidy up at night when they're in bed, at least you will get to see your orderly house on the way to bed and in the morning briefly. They say a tidy house is healthy for your mental health.

4. VINEGAR, VINEGAR, VINEGAR! It cleans everything, including your hair!
Seriously, its completely safe and you can clean kids toys, hardwood floors, stove and countertops, bathrooms, windows, carpets, pet messes, etc. Do things ever shine! You can use it full strength or diluted with water. A big jug is less than $3 and can last for awhile. Try mixing is half and half in a spray bottle (label it) and clean away!

5. Clean a little bit everyday, designate (if your schedule allows) a half hour after maybe a coffee or tea break and just tidy and clean. Schedule bathroom for one day etc. Apparently, those daily shower cleaners are really effective, but I personally haven't tried them. Try to develop a routine for some quick cleaning as you go. Maybe while you make your morning coffee, try to give the floor a quick sweep.
