Seeds

The seeds that were planted

to make this world whole,

grew in the nature God granted

and had plenty of soul.

They grew on the love

found deep in their hearts,

from Heaven above

through the universe charts.

They were watered with kindness

and tended with care

and the sunshine was no less

in the fresh, virgin air.

Their growth was so natural

and the word' harm' was not known,

it was quite simply all factual

the way they were grown.

And those seeds they did regenerate

as they fell to the ground,

and the forest guarded their fate

as the new birth did abound.

And they grew into tall trees

as the centuries rolled on,

they could do as they please

the forests were not gone.

But all that did change

when man ignored the seed's birth,

and felled trees on the mountain range

without a care and much mirth.

And now those same seeds

are fearful of growing,

they do have their needs

they have an uncanny knowing.

Of this new perpetrator

whose saws stop them growing

and who yell 'see you later'

as they crash to the ground groaning

And cry out in pain

such a sad, sad, tree sound,

'please don't come back again'

yet the Amazon's cut to the grouind.

The oxygen's going

and there wont be much more,

everything is sadly slowing,

so sow 'seeds of love' to the core.
